MidSURE - Undergraduate Research

2027 Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (MidSURE)

The 17th annual MidSURE will be held on TBD at the STEM Teaching and Learning Facility and online at Symposium by ForagerOne. MidSURE 2027 will be a hybrid event with both in-person and online poster presentations. It is a non-competitive symposium and does not include presentation awards. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

MidSURE provides an opportunity for students involved in research and creative activities at Michigan State and other institutions to share their work with their peers and the MSU community.

The 16th annual Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (MidSURE) brought together over 290 undergraduate students from diverse academic disciplines to share their research and creative activities with the university community. Undergraduate students from more than 90 different institutions participated in Mid-SURE 2025. These students were mentored by over 300 faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students. The 15th annual Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE) brought together over 300 undergraduate students from diverse academic disciplines to share their research and creative activities with the university community. Undergraduate students from more than 80 different institutions participated in Mid-SURE 2025. These students were mentored by over 280 faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students.
