MSU undergraduate researchers, visiting students participating in research at MSU, and students from regional institutions are eligible to present at the Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE). Current MSU students and May 2022 graduates are also eligible to present at Mid-SURE. Incoming MSU students (first year or transfer) who complete New Student Orientation (NSO) before July 27th may participate as well. This event provides an opportunity for students involved in research and creative activities at Michigan State and select institutions to share their work with their peers, faculty, and external audiences.

All stages of research and creative scholarship are welcomed--from preliminary to capstone projects and everywhere in between! Research and creative activity conducted during courses, internship/REU, Education Abroad, or community-based participatory research are also accepted. Research is a process. Share with the university community where you are in that process when you present at Mid-SURE.

Michigan State University is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. Accommodations for persons with disabilities may be requested by contacting Heather Dover, Coordinator for Undergraduate Research (doverhea@msu.edu, 517-884-1558) by July 18, 2022. Requests received after this date will be honored whenever possible.
